ABOUT CANNAVALON
Cannavalon Biosciences, Inc. is a vertically integrated, Northern-California cannabis company based in Santa Rosa, California that operates growing and processing facilities in the world-famous, Sonoma County appellation. Cannavalon’s core disciplines include cannabinoid research, science-to-sale operations, and product validation. Their expertise is derived from a decade (since 2007) of growing and oil extraction experience and five years (since 2012) of cannabinoid research and testing through their mergers with Vinea Labs, Inc. and Elysium Wellness Non-Profit.
We operate transparently within our community and adhere to the medical and recreational cannabis legal structures put in place by the State of California and County and City jurisdictions.

OUR MISSION
The mission is to be the leader in the production and marketing of the most efficacious, consistent and non-toxic medicinal cannabis products. Cannavalon’s product line is proven, trusted and ready.
When we say ready, we mean it. The research, development, and testing has been
accomplished over the last 7 years of patient use and results.

OUR FUTURE MARKETS

Medical Cannabis
Under the Compassionate Use Act of 1996 (Proposition 215), patients holding valid medical cannabis registrations may purchase cannabis medicinal products from licensed California medical dispensaries. A vast wealth of research papers has demonstrated that medical cannabis is an effective agent or has shown promise in treating pain, muscle spasms, headaches, anxiety, nausea, vomiting, depression, addiction therapy (e.g. opioids), incontinence, cramps, panic attacks, diarrhea, itching, sleep, relaxation, appetite, appetite suppression, concentration, energy and many others.

Nutraceuticals
“Let food be thy medicine”
-Hippocrates
A nutraceutical is a food offering medicinal benefit and is “unregulated” (non-pharmaceutical). With the passage of Proposition 64 (recreational legalization) in California, cannabis-based nutraceuticals may soon find their way into pharmacies and health food stores in discrete, one-a-day form factors (e.g. gummy bears, capsule, tablet, powder) or into mainstream supermarkets embedded in common food products (“functional foods”) like cooking and salad oils, candy, cakes, soda, milk, wine, bread, sauces, etc. These “for adult” nutraceuticals will offer an alternative to pill popping by integrating medicinal benefits into daily food regiments.

Supplements
A dietary supplement is a product intended for ingestion that contains a "dietary ingredient" that adds further nutritional value to (supplement) the diet. A "dietary ingredient" may be one, or any combination, of the following substances: a vitamin, a mineral, an herb or other botanical. As an herb and a botanical, cannabis falls squarely into this definition. It is also loaded with vitamins, minerals, omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, and antioxidants.
